Palos Animal Hospital’s Policies

Part of our goal here at Palos Animal Hospital is to provide each and every patient with an equal level of care in a timely manner and in a safe environment. To do that, we must abide by the following hospital policies. We sincerely appreciate your compliance with these hospital policies and look forward to caring for your pet.

Appointment Policy

To ensure that all of our patients receive prompt and thorough attention, Palos Animal Hospital operates on an appointment-only basis, with the exception of emergencies. Emergency cases are always given top priority, which may result in delays for clients with scheduled appointments. However, please keep in mind that we make every effort to see all patients on time.

Patient Arrival Policy

For the safety of all animals in our care, we ask that all dogs be placed on a leash and properly controlled before entering our waiting room. All cats should be in an appropriate carrier or on a leash. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time for any required paperwork or questioning.

Appointment Cancelation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that may prevent your keeping your appointments. In the event that you need to cancel your pet’s appointment, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, if possible.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time services are rendered. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks, CareCredit, and cash.
